Do not fall into the mindset of so many that this is not a good time to job search! I promise you hiring does not just stop because a large chunk of paid holidays are bunched together at the end of the year!

Where do you find opportunity for me? I’m 62, laid off 1 ½ yrs ago. 30+ years of experience and can’t find a job. Being treated for depression and anxiety and now ADHD! I’m on medication and go to therapy. I don’t fit into my administrative niche and probably never really have fit in well. The jobs all ask for new tech skills that I don’t have. Are there companies left that will welcome me? I’m exhausted and discouraged in the search.

It may seem like you’re sinking deeper and deeper into the well with no lifeline. What can you do to restore your faith in yourself and your confidence in your ability to find a job? You know your attitude affects the persona you present at an interview so it’s critical for your mental health as well as your ability to land that job. It’s time to take a break!
