It’s Time to Find Solutions and Stop Finger Pointing!
September 12, 2011 by Jeff Winters
President Obama has proposed a $447 Billion dollar plan to create jobs and kick start our economy. Most of us, including myself, are incapable of digging into the specifics and understanding the short term or long term implications, but we are all very well aware of the fact that something needs to be done and the sooner the better.

Hopefully, our two major parties are finally prepared to stop playing Politian and begin playing statesman. Most of us have lost patience with the never-ending finger pointing and bickering that has brought our economy to its knees. Our congress now has an 18% approval rating and our president continues to lose the confidence of the American people. What’s needed is a plan to get us back to work that doesn’t bankrupt us ten years down the road. As an advocate for the needs of Boomers and Gen Xers, I would also like to see special consideration for employers that hire workers over 40.

Please take the time to write your congressman and senator and let them know that it’s time to get us back to work!
