As we sit on the sidelines and watch the rollercoaster ride the stock market takes everyday, some of us are angry, many of us are worried and all of us should be concerned. It’s the by-product of poor leadership in Washington, but we must remain focused on getting job search help and finding that next job. We’ll have an opportunity to make ourselves heard as we vote for our representatives in congress and our next president, but to get distracted and lose focus on our career plan would be a big mistake. The first lesson anyone seeking to start a new business must learn is that more young companies fail because of lack of focus than any other reason. There isn’t very much we can do to get our elected officials to stop bickering and begin to address the problem as statesman, but we can and must focus on our career plan and get back to work. Why not plan on registering for the next OurExperienceCounts.com webinar? If you’re a member, it’s free. That’s a great way to get started!
